Is it possible to alter the details of an item already registered on the blockchain?

Assets within Digital Portfolio will be registered on the blockchain at the point of sale, and automatically transferred to the new owner. Once an asset is registered, its key details will become permanent and cannot be changed. However, certain fields will remain editable after registration.

• Permanently locked fields that cannot be edited after registration:
  • Artist name
  • Title
  • Year
  • Dimensions
  • Medium
• Fields that will remain editable even after registration:
  • Images
  • Description
  • Optional fields (e.g., type, inventory ID, price)

This ensures the core information of the artwork is immutable, while allowing flexibility for supplementary details.
