# What are storefronts?

## Storefronts are customizable online viewing rooms (OVR) which give you the opportunity to showcase and sell items seamlessly.

There are two main types of storefronts which accommodate different needs such as creating a fair storefront and inviting exhibitors, or publishing your own storefront as an artist.

#### Single-seller storefronts

The storefront owner lists, manages and sells items themselves. Single-seller storefronts are generally used by galleries or artists to list their collection.

#### Multi-seller storefronts

The storefront operator can invite multiple exhibitors to list and sell items. Multi-seller storefronts are generally used by fairs or institutions to bring different exhibitors together on the same platform.

The roles of operators and exhibitors depend on the needs of the storefront owner and their subscription plan.
