What does it mean to have an Arcual digital Certificate of Authenticity (CoA)?

The Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) provided by Arcual is a digital version of the traditional CoA certified by both the gallery and the artist. It uses blockchain technology to ensure the authenticity, integrity, and ownership of the physical artwork.

It is securely recorded on the blockchain and cannot be tampered with by any 3rd party. It is the single source of truth when it comes to a specific artwork, which includes the details of the artwork (including artwork picture, artwork details, artist signature, etc.) and the transaction history. It also serves as proof of ownership at any given time.

During the purchase of an artwork, the digital CoA is transferred to the collector's Arcual account automatically when payment is successfully executed.
